Let the world know how little you remember with an “I’m No Brad Williams” shirt from the Unforgettaboutique.

I shot video of this window display on Melrose Avenue in Hollywood, thinking it might provide a neat graphic element for the film. Only when I was viewing the footage later did I notice the calendar’s fatal flaw.

You can stare at this image for 90 minutes. Or you can wait for the more conventional film to be finished. Whatever.
In case you’re wondering how to waste time online today, Eric Johnson at mental_floss gives a nice shout-out to Brad’s daily trivia blog, Triviazoids, citing it as one of ten “easy ways to put off whatever you’re supposed to be doing while also getting your knowledge fix”. Brad’s blog is right up there with YouTube, HowStuffWorks, Wikipedia’s “random article” search and this site which can teach you how to write your name in Elvish in ten minutes.
Although it didn’t air until June, Brad’s Relly-nominated appearance with Regis and Kelly was taped on May 19, 2008.
In honor of Brad’s victory in the Wisconsin state spelling bee, exactly four decades ago.

Chatting with Brad on the phone tonight, he was pondering whether he should go to see Billy Joel and Elton John in Madison this week. I asked, “When did we see Billy Joel in Madison?” and, after a couple seconds, he said, “It was thirty years ago tonight!” I located my ticket stub which, of course, proved him right. (Check your nearest perpetual calendar if you need proof that May 2 was a Wednesday in 1979.)
He also correctly gave me the date when we saw Elton John in Madison: Thursday, September 4, 1980. Ticket price for Elton was $11. Price to see Elton and Billy this week? $125. Are there any other commodities for which the price has gone up 1000% in those same 30 years?
What do Jimmy Kimmel, Regis Philbin, Kelly Ripa, Robert Bazell, Dr. Sanjay Gupta, Diane Sawyer, Chris Cuomo, Josh Holloway, Ken Jennings and Dick Cavett all have in common? Well, none of them have ever been in my kitchen. But they’ve also all met Brad.
